My Experience

I have over 10 years of setup and repair experience. Being part of a band growing up as a singer and bass player was one of the greatest learning experiences. I am dedicated to providing the highest level of service to each and every customer.

13 Point Setup Description

Truss rod adjustment to provide the proper amount of relief in the neck.

Bridge height adjustment to adjust the string height.

Rotate volume & tone pots. Deoxit if scratchy, tighten if loose.

Clean & polish the frets.

Clean the fretboard & oil (Rosewood, Pau Ferro and Ebony.)

Change strings and tune. Lubricate nut if necessary.

Tighten loose tuning machines and torque if necessary.

Tighten any loose screws on the body.

Check and adjust the pickup height.

Set and adjust the intonation.

Clean the guitar.

Play the guitar and check for buzzing, playability, overall feel.

Guitar Services

Restringing: $30 (Doesn't include strings)

Remove old strings and string with new ones.

Stretch strings and tune to desired tuning.

General cleaning of the guitar.

Nut Replacement, includes Tusq nut: $59

Fret Dressing (Level, Crown and Polish) Includes Setup: $120

Levels the frets.

After leveling, the frets are crowned and polished.

This is great for buzzy guitars with high/low frets.

Includes a setup. Requires a change of strings.
